Non-Slip Yoga Mats
For 4 years now, we have been serving Irelands Yoga/Pilates teachers with unbeatable price and quality on 6mm Thick, Non-Slip Yoga Mats, which are:
- High quality closed-cell PVC vinyl giving the mat a soft cushioning effect. (100% latex free). These mats are manufactured using a process which introduces tiny bubbles in the PVC based material, providing the ‘sticky effect’. Some other mats use latex base and add a coating which wears off over time.
- Mats strictly meet EU manufacturing standards (CE mark).
- Internal, center threading gives this mat exceptional strength and durability against tearing.
- The mats measure 172cm x 61cm (68inches x 24inches) and at 5.5mm (1/4 inch), are of a thicker texture than regular mats.
- Mats are available in a deep-purple or dark-blue colour.
We are providing these great Yoga/Pilates mats on an individual as well as wholesale basis, with significant savings on orders of 10 or more.
We would also be glad to cater for yoga/pilates teachers distributing mats to their new students on a regular basis, and currently supply some of Irelands most successful yoga and pilates studios.

Mysore Ashtanga Mats
These Indian made elegant and high quality, cotton yoga mats/rugs are tightly woven and were first used for Yoga practice in Mysore, a tropical city on the south west coast of India (which is why they are often referred to as Mysore Rugs). These mats are ideal for Ashtanga, Bikram or any sweaty yoga practice, where standard PVC mats may not provide enough traction.
These rugs can be used by themselves or in conjunction with a sticky mat (our PVC mat above being perfect of course!). This will add extra cushion for sitting postures and better traction and stability for standing postures by absorbing perspiration and moisture that would otherwise make your mat slippery.
Traction on these cotton mats is activated by moisture build up from sweat or water, so at the start of your practice it is best to give the mat a light spray with water.

Yoga Mat Bags
These bags are a great way to transport your mat (or mats), to and from practice. They come in simple black canvas/canvas netting with cute, (and subtle!) zenthings logo.
They also have a handy shoulder strap for convenient carrying and a drawstring to avoid a lost mat incident!

Yoga Blocks
Yoga blocks are helpful in execution of a variety of Yoga poses and postures, especially for the beginner. Yoga blocks are used during yoga to provide stability and support to the body and help in reducing the distance between the body and the ground. They can be used under hands, feet or seat to expand stretches and achieve proper alignment.
Our yoga blocks (or yoga bricks), are made of rigid PU foam, (not reconstitured foam bits) and are in a purple colour (and consistent with our purple mats, for those of you who may be coordination conscious!). They measure 20cm x 12 cm x 10 cm.

Yoga Belts
Yoga belts are useful to assist in attaining correct postures by providing the required tension of a pose without straining. Belts are also used for binding in postures, especially in Iyengar yoga.
We offer both standard length and width of 2m and 38mm (inch and a half), or extra long yoga belts of 2.5m which are slightly narrower, (25mm or 1 inch), as this is the width preferred by Iyengar practitioners. All belts are 100% cotton, and use cinch buckles that both lock the belt firmly and are easy to adjust. 2.5m belts are recommended for tall people and in general for Iyengar yoga. Several yoga belts can be attached together where required. Belts are machine washable at 40 degrees.
